How to turn off automatic invoice reminders

You have the flexibility to turn off automatic payment reminders for a specific invoice or for all your invoices in Gusto Invoicing. This article explains how to do it and contains the following sections: 

Turning off automatic reminders for a specific invoice

To stop automatic payment reminders for an individual invoice:

1 - In your Gusto Dashboard, select Finances from the left-hand sidebar.

2 - Select Invoices.

3 - Select the Invoices tab.

4 - Find the invoice you want to send a reminder for in the list.

5 - Select the three-dot icon on the right side. 

6 - In the drop-down menu, select Edit.

7 - On the Edit invoice window, scroll down to the bottom of the page.

8 - Uncheck the Send automatic payment reminders box.

9 - Select Save and close or Save and share at the bottom right to confirm the change.

That’s it. You successfully turned off the automatic reminders for this invoice. You can always re-enable it later if needed.

Turning off automatic reminders for all invoices

To disable automatic payment reminders across all your invoices:

1 - Select Settings on the right side of the Ivoicing dashboard.

2 - Under the Invoicing section, select Invoice reminders.

3 - On the Invoice reminders screen, turn off the toggle next to the reminder frequency you want to disable. You can turn off multiple options.

That’s it. This change will apply to all your invoices.
